Galapagos Islands Organic

The Galapagos Islands are located within the latitudinal band right above and below the equator that constitutes THE WORLD'S GREATEST COFFEE GROWING AREA. Galapagos Coffee is 100% organic Arabica Bourbon coffee that is grown within the volcanic mountains of the Galapagos Islands, receiving a perfect balance of sunlight, rain, volcanic soil and altitude that makes for great coffee. The beans are handpicked and processed through an ecological wet plant on San Cristobal Island, using the unique spring water from the island. Only the best cherries are used and the remains are composted and reintroduced to the plantation as natural fertilizer. The drying of the washed beans is done with soft sunlight, and the whole operation is carried out under strict quality control and environmental supervision. The coffee is low acid, very delicious, with intense aroma and rich flavor. The yearly production is very, very limited, and so is the supply.
