Abyssinia is typically roasted on the lightest roast, creating coffee that is low in acidity and enjoyable. BRAZIL ESTATE $14.00 per lb One of the most beautiful countries in the world, Brazil is the largest producer of coffee beans supplying 25% of the world with their beans. To maintain the integrity of the region, Henry roasts this bean to ensure its nutty character is highlighted. CELEBES KALOSSI $18.80 per lb Produced on small family and community farms in Indonesia, this bean is a rare and limited find. After it is harvested at the peak of maturity, the bean is pulped, washed and sun dried on partisan. This light roast is aromatic with hints of sweet spices. COLOMBIA SUPREMO $14.40 per lb Next to Brazil, Columbia is the second largest producer of Arabica beans. The rich volcanic soil and high mountainous regions of Columbia create ideal conditions for growing this high quality coffee bean. Our Columbian Light Roast is original in producing a dry multi grain fragrance yet carrying notes of sugar cane sweetener with floral hints. ESPRESSO ROAST $14.00 per lb Your classic excellent espresso blend used for all espresso drinks and french press brewed coffee. The mixture of these beans coupled with Henry’s mastery of the dark roast produces a thick creamy, bold and robust flavor. FRENCH ROAST $12.80 per lb First, a little lesson. The term “french roast” was coined to identify a dark roast. Therefore, all beans that are roasted dark can technically be called “french roast.” Our french roast is distinguishable in two ways: 1) we use a blend of African and South American Arabica beans. 2) We have Henry, our master roaster that has perfected the dark roasting craft. He roasts this unique combination of beans to the highest temperature until the bean reaches its breaking point and releases a rich caramelized sugar. Henry’s French Roast will provide the palate with intense, bold, and semisweet flavors with delicious smoky overtones. Quantity x 1 lb	GALAPAGOS ISLANDS ORGANIC $29.80 per lb Galapagos Coffee is 100% organic, grown within the volcanic mountains of Galapagos Islands. This ideal volcanic environment provides for a perfect combination of sunlight, rain and volcanic soil in an altitude that makes for great coffee. JAMAICAN BLUE MOUNTAIN $53.00 per lb Much like how champagne can only be called champagne if it comes from the Champagne region of France, Blue Mountain coffee can only be called Blue Mountain if it comes from the legally defined areas of the Blue Mountain in Jamaica. Here at House of Coffee we have taken great care and practice to ensure the Jamaican Blue Mountain we offer you is harvested from the purest of areas. Each berry is picked by hand with strict food and safety regulations to avoid contamination. Balanced, sweet and low in acidity, this bean is the platinum standard of all coffee beans. They are then washed by hand and spread out under the sun for a natural drying process. Cool breezes further dry the specially selected beans in order to develop a complex and balanced profile. PUERTO RICO ORO $29.80 per lb They call it “Puerto Rico Oro”. This coffee farm was abandoned in the last 23 years. Now under new technology and new management the farm has become a hidden gem among the mountains of Puerto Rico. This farm has produced top quality specialty coffee beans using traditional methods and the finest Arabica trees. The production is limited but the cup is excellent. It has a clean and refreshing taste with a subtle mix of fruity flavors. The body is smooth with citric notes, adding delicacy to the cup. SUMATRA MANDHELING $15.40 per lb From the Gayo Mountains in the Aceh region of North Sumatra, these beans travel many places before they arrive in the city of Medan for a final drying, processing, and shipping. The brew has a clean, sweet, slightly fruity flavor with a hint of cocoa as a finish. VISTA ALEGRE $17.00 per lb By using a drip irrigation system, the trees of the Vista Alegre bean are nourished using irrigated water even after the coffee cherries have ripened. This continued nourishment allows the cherry to further mature and develop. After a medium roast the coffee releases a syrupy body with illusions of dark chocolaty sweetness. After hand picking, and sun drying the crop, the beans go through six to eight weeks of conditioning. This unique combination results in a coffee that has a rich aroma and a slightly spicy flavor.
